The HSJ Patient Safety Congress Patient Safety Improvement Competition recognises safety and quality improvement initiatives from around the UK and worldwide. It gives entrants a platform to share and exchange safety and quality breakthroughs with other patient safety advocates, and national and international experts.
This year, 10 category winners showcased their projects to over 1,000 patient safety experts and advocates who attended the Congress this September via the event app. Thy presented a 10-minute lightning talk in the Innovation Spotlight theatre, to decide the overall winner.
The HSJ Patient Safety Congress attendees voted onsite and the winner was announced by Shaun Lintern, Congress Chair, to the audience on Day 2. Congratulations to the overall winner the LGBT Foundation for their project LGBT Foundation Pride in Practice. Find out more about their project here.
