The HSJ Safety Leaders Exchange 2025 is the dedicated strategic forum for senior clinical and medical leaders driving safety and quality across the NHS. Integrated within the HSJ Patient Safety Congress, the Exchange offers a closed-door, discussion-based environment where system leaders can explore how to translate evolving national strategy into local impact - while maintaining safe, high-quality care during a time of financial and structural pressure.

With the NHS’s 10-Year Health Plan and a refreshed national Patient Safety Strategy expected soon after, the 2025 Exchange will explore how clinical leaders can embed safety into long-term system plans — from ICS transformation to hospital-at-home models and trauma-informed care.

Through attending the HSJ Safety Leaders Exchange, you’ll find a safe space to share strategic challenges and best practice across board level.

In addition to the mix of visionary panels and interactive discussion groups in the stream itself, you’re welcome to attend the main HSJ Patient Safety Congress plenary keynote sessions and James Reason Lecture on 15th September.
