HSJ Patient Safety Virtual Event – 12 November 2020
The coronavirus pandemic has proven to be a turning point for the NHS and has placed patient safety at the forefront of discussions. As plans intensify across the health and social care system to prepare for the recovery period, it is vital to address the existing patient safety issues that have been exposed and magnified, alongside new challenges that will need to be tackled as the system undergoes transformation.
The Patient Safety Virtual Event will take our key Congress principles of real solutions, influential conversations and challenging content and give our community the opportunity to share recent learnings to take practical ideas back to their own organisations. We will address key challenges around patient safety, quality improvement and care of deteriorating patients as well as highlight the positives which can be harnessed and embedded to shape the future system. The event will provide a thought-provoking and timely opportunity for our attendees and partners to reflect on the initial response, identify and address areas for improvement and prepare for the long-term recovery process.
