Kelsey is the centre manager for the NIHR Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (PSTRC). In this role, Kelsey is the operational lead for the centre and contributes to its strategic development and delivery against research objectives. Kelsey works closely with the centre’s NHS and international partners and supports a portfolio of research activities relating to learning from patient feedback. 

Kelsey has completed a PhD in Health Policy at Imperial College London that focused on improving the use of patient experience data. During this time, Kelsey held a research assistant role in patient experience and patient safety with a focus on applying academic insights in the NHS. 

Before joining the team at Imperial, Kelsey worked at Picker Institute Europe where she was responsible for delivering national patient survey programme work and a diverse range of policy research projects. Kelsey completed her MSc in comparative social policy from the University of Oxford.
