Dr Emma Rowland is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Homerton Healthcare Hospital and the Clinical Lead for Clinical Review of Standards (Urgent and Emergency Care) for North-East London.
Until recently, Emma also held the position of Associate Medical Director of the EMRS Division at Homerton after joining the Trust in 2012.
Dr Emma Rowland takes an active interest in both Emergency Medicine and governance at both an operational and strategic levels. Emma is a currently member of the Urgent and Emergency Clinical Leadership Group, NHS England (London), a CQC Specialist Advisor and part of the team that have recently delivered the Patient First document and is also the co-chair for the RCEM Regional Board for London.
Emma has held previously roles that include being a HEMs registrar, the Clinical Lead for Emergency Medicine at Homerton for 7 years, the Trust Director for Trauma and also the Deputy Chair of the Urgent Care Programme Board for City and Hackney CCG.
